Acceptance
These Terms govern your access to Leaderboard and your use of product listings, rankings, outbound links, and optional Boosts. By publishing a product or purchasing a Boost, you agree to these Terms.
If you act for a company or another organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms for it.
What Leaderboard provides
Leaderboard is a product-discovery service. A product may be published without charge and remain discoverable until it is removed by its publisher or moderated by Leaderboard.
A Boost is an optional, fixed-price, time-limited placement. It is not an auction, subscription, advertising account, or guarantee of traffic, clicks, customers, revenue, or any other business result.
Product listings
You must submit a valid public URL and accurate information about a product you own, operate, represent, or are authorised to promote. Leaderboard may retrieve publicly available metadata, including a name, description, category, logo, favicon, and destination URL, for you to review.
You remain responsible for the accuracy, legality, availability, and rights associated with the submitted product and its content. You grant Leaderboard a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display the submitted name, description, logo, and related public metadata only as needed to operate and promote the listing service.
Boosts and scheduling
Before checkout, the interface shows the selected leaderboard scope, position, price, and expected time window. A temporary hold does not constitute payment confirmation.
Supabase assigns and confirms the final slot after Stripe reports a successful payment through a signed webhook. If a 60-second hold expires before payment, the original time is released and the first available eligible slot is assigned after payment. Paid placements are protected for their confirmed 15-minute window.
Cooldowns, queue order, and anti-monopolisation rules described on the How it works page form part of these Terms.
Payments and refunds
Boosts are one-time purchases processed by Stripe. There is no recurring subscription charge. Prices and currency are shown before you leave Leaderboard for Stripe Checkout.
A Boost is final once payment is confirmed and its placement is allocated, except where a refund is required by applicable law or where Leaderboard fails to deliver the purchased placement because of its own confirmed error. Duplicate charges and failed allocations will be investigated and corrected.
Taxes, card verification, payment-method availability, and Stripe’s own terms may apply to the transaction.
Fair use and prohibited content
You may not submit or promote illegal content, malware, phishing, deceptive offers, impersonation, intellectual-property infringement, harassment, adult exploitation, fraudulent financial schemes, or products designed to harm users or systems.
You may not manipulate visits, automate fake clicks, evade Boost limits, interfere with queues, probe private systems, or use Leaderboard in a way that degrades the service for others.
Moderation and removal
Leaderboard may correct categorisation, remove misleading metadata, suspend a listing, reject a Boost, or block access when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, comply with law, or preserve service integrity.
Where practical, paid placements affected by an error attributable to Leaderboard will be rescheduled or refunded. Enforcement against prohibited conduct does not create a right to a refund.
Availability and changes
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. Maintenance, third-party outages, destination failures, security incidents, or events outside reasonable control may interrupt access.
Leaderboard may improve the interface, ranking presentation, categories, or operational providers. Material changes to paid-placement rules will be disclosed before they apply to a new purchase.
Responsibility and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Leaderboard is not responsible for third-party products, destination websites, user claims, indirect losses, lost profits, or results that a listing or Boost did not achieve.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections that apply in your location.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute will be handled by the competent French courts, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection or jurisdiction rules that apply to you.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the service develops. The updated date will change when revisions are published. Material changes will apply prospectively, and continued use after they take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
